Professional Arts Education Experience:
Designed Arts Curriculum in Canada and the Caribbean - Fine Arts Courses - Workshops - Private Tuition - All Ages - All Levels of Development - Explore a Classical Approach to Art-making and The Fundamentals of Arts and Design - Multi-media - Portraiture - Life Drawing - En Plein Air - Still Life - Portfolio Development.
To express creativity, using any medium, a basic understanding of the Fundamentals of Art and Design is vital. (Copy work from photos not recommended). Students of art must let go the urge to control the experience or the materials. In other words, explore the basic rules of art making before you break them. It’s vital to study with a trained fine arts teacher, if you can, someone who can guide you to express your unique voice.
Consider - Does a Poet know the next word when s/he is writing a poem? Does a Musician know the next chord as s/he is exploring or creating or (exploring) their music?
With fewer words, William Shakespeare said, "The Play's The Thing".
Professional Musicians Play! - Actors Play! - Dancers Play! - Visual Artists Play! - Writers Play! - With letting go or playing comes great freedom - To be yourself - To explore boundless possibilities.
Consider - If you are a student of the piano how long could it take to play Chopin by sight, - then - with passion? Consider now - How long could it take to Discover Your Own - Unique - Voice!?
The Playing - The Exploration - A Sense of Wonder - Is The Thing! |
